If you could ask yourself your own first question to start off this interview with, what would it be and what’s the answer?

Jason: What was the coolest thing about doing Warped Tour? Answer… Catering!

Pat: Of all the states you have toured in, which is your favorite? Answer….California.

Take us through a typical day on the road traveling?

Jason: Depending on how long of a trip it is we 1: Wake up hung over, hit up a Wawa, travel to load in around 4 pm usually, do the whole load in sound-check thing, hit up a Fourkation and get a Four Loko. Watch the opening bands, hang out with friends, get on stage, rip hard, sell some shirts and cds, commence after party/sleepover.

Pat: Well…I attempt! I repeat my attempt to sleep in the van but then successfully fail due to the awesome conditions of the toll roads that we travel on and pay sooo much money for. And the rest of what Jason said..

You guys are on the road so much every year that I would think it is difficult keeping a balanced marriage/relationship? How do you find a way to make them work?

Jason: I personally feel extremely lucky to have such a supportive wife and life partner in my life. She has my back and has pushed the band to succeed, on days when I wanted to quit she wouldn’t let me and for that I owe much of my success to her. It is hard being away so much, but as they say “absence makes the heart grow fonder”. For anyone who is in this situation I’d say trust is the most important part.

The Ehh Brah Party Tour will feature The B Foundation, The Supervillains, and Ballyhoo! How much trash talking will go down since you are HUGE Laker fans and Supervillains are HUGE Magic fans?

Jason: Who exactly are The Supervillains and the Magic again?

Pat: Jason don’t know jack…. The Supervillains are a hockey team from New York ya dummy ….. next question!

While we are on that subject will the Lakers 3-peat? Also what are your feelings about the Miami Heat and Lebron?

Jason: The Lakers def have the potential every year. As far as Lebron, I think he’s a chump.. Touchdown!

Pat: I don’t care about a bunch of overpaid athletes I make music and that is all I care about..(big up rasta) smoke grass.

I am curious on if and how bands plan for life after music. Is this something you guys think about or live life at the moment?

Jason: I’ve always been focused on getting the band to the next level, because no matter where you are there’s always a next level to be attained. I haven’t spent too much time thinking about what I’m gonna do after The b Foundation. I always hoped the answer would be that I would retire. Unfortunately the music industry is kinda jacked up so we’re just working away and hoping for the best.

Pat: There is never life after music……

Back to normal questions for a minute

Your new single “Take Some Time” just came out on Itunes. Why are we teased with a single and not a full album or at least an E.P.? When can we expect one of those as well?

take-some-time

Jason: Well our next EP has a sort of theme to it. Entitled “The Chronicles” its mostly songs based around the green ganja farmer Billy Bong. Take Some Time didn’t fit into that format and we felt it was a great song so we decided to release it as a single . Don’t worry the EP is coming and the songs are hot.

Pat: Good Music “ Takes Some Time” lol!

One of your new tunes not yet recorded but has been played live is “2012”. Why was this one not chosen as the new single and any thoughts on Dec 21, 2012?

Jason: 2012 was just a tentative title for that song, it doesn’t really have too much to do with the end of the world just more of a song about love and the involvement of weed and love.. and weed… and saving the world.. I don’t know actually, but it’s a sick riff..

Pat: I Plead the 5th

Break for another Crazy Question:

F/Marry/Kill - Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres, or Betty White?

Jason: Nice! I’d Fuck Ellen cause shes actually alright looking guy, I’d kill Oprah Winfrey and already wish I could anyways cause of that cackle of hers, and I’d most definitely marry Betty White, she is the shit!

The B Foundation was on this past summers Wapred Tour. How did the dates you guys were on go?

Jason: Warped Tour was the shit, we made bunch of new fans and had a blast. It is a totally different scene than what we were used to, loading in at 7 am and busting our asses in the hot sun all day to promote The B and make sure everyone knew what our set time was…. It was a challenge but overall I think it was amazing personally and want to do the whole tour next year.

Is it always harmony and parting on the road with the other bands or have there been times when you can not wait to get off the tour?

Jason: To be honest we have always had an amazing time with all the bands we’ve toured with, even EEK a Mouse… we’ve never been like “man those guys are dicks”. I think being part of this music scene we’re a part of people tend to be super cool to each other because we’re just hanging out playing good music, smoking herbs, and drinking. We’re giving the fans a party atmosphere so I’m not sure why we wouldn’t live the lifestyle we portray. That would be some marc ass buster shit.

Pat: I have a good time with every band I have been on tour with except Metallica.

If you could map out your future success how would it go?

Jason: I’m not sure at this point. We have goals and an overall plan and as long as we continue to achieve our small term goals the long term ones will fall into place. I really just hope that the music industry and economy as a whole catch up and people can afford to buy music and come to shows.

Pat: Live happily ever after duh!

Any final thoughts, plugs, or disses?

Jason: The best way today to help spread the word about your favorite bands is through Facebook and word of mouth. Get on our page “like” that shit and suggest it to all your friends. Then we can keep in touch with you. Burn the cds for your friends, we don’t care.. we want you at the shows, and when you come bring the stinkiest weed you can find..

Pat: I’ve sailed the 7 seas, and I’ll sail em all again, if you sailed the seven seas would you meet me at the end, and we’ll all get drunk we’ll all get drunk so drink, drink, drink, I”ve climbed the highest peaks, and I’ve soared the lowest lows, I grabbed a ho and broke a nose and this is the life I chose So we’ll all get drunk we’ll all get drunk so drink drink drink Well all get drunk we’ll all get drunk so drink drink drink!!!!!
