A release that features Stick Figure really doesn't need much help when it comes to exposure. TJ O'Neill, who we all know and love from his incredible feature on Stick Figures song "Weight Of Sound", comes out with the very first single of his own. The track is a cover of Jimmy Buffets "A Pirate Looks At 40". The song features basically most of the Stick Figure family including KBong and Johnny Cosmic. Stick Figure had this to say about the track on his social media:
"We’ve been jamming this classic song on the tour bus for the past few years so we thought we’d record a studio version for y’all. Stoked for my boy Tj O’Neill on his first solo studio release! TJ is always the first to break out the guitars and get a group jam session going and “A Pirate Looks at 40” is a favorite of ours to sing together and this recording really captures that spirit. Hope you enjoy this one as much as we had fun recording it. Big up everyone involved -
Johnny Cosmic - vocals, guitar, production
Scott Woodruff - vocals, guitar, production
KBong - vocals, keyboards, organ,
TJ - vocals
Todd Smith - drums
Alific - mute guitar"
